Hello. My property is located in The Retreat at Mallory Creek and backs up to Simmerman Way in Brunswick Forest. Prior to me purchasing the property, the buffer between the two developments was damaged by Hurricane Florence. I thought my builder would clean it up, but they say it is owned by the Town of Leland and won't clean it. The area has uprooted trees falling over the draining ditch. Per the Brunswick County GIS map, it is ID 058LC00104. I also checked with the Brunswick Forest owners and they also say it is not their property. I would appreciate someone cleaning this area up. Not only is it unsightly, but I'm afraid the drainage ditch will get clogged and start flooding during future storms. Please call me to further discuss or follow up. Karen Schraml, 910-470-5908
Thank you.
