There has been no traffic light installed at Waterford Square Apartments at Carmel Road.

It hasn't been fixed yet. A traffic light needs to be installed because people who come out of Waterford Square and need to go North on Carmel Road have to take their lives in their hands. When I want to go north on Carmel Road, I turn right, go down to NC 51 and make a U-Turn.

They still have yet to install a traffic signal at the Carmel entrance to Waterford Square

A traffic light still needs to be installed at the intersection of Carmel Road and the entrance to Waterford Square Apartments. I myself when I otherwise have to make a left turn out of there turn right and make a U-turn at Carmel and NC 51.

It's a bad accident waiting to happen! Someone could get killed! People have to take their lives in their hands if they decide to turn left onto Carmel out of Waterford Square Apartments. If I want to go northbound on Carmel, I turn right, go down to the intersection of Pinville-Matthews Road which is NC 51, and make a U-turn. During the near eight years that I lived in that apartment complex, I remember one really bad accident in which someone was trying to make a left turn out of the apartment complex. If a light can't be installed, another solution would be to make the exit a "Right turn only".

Maybe it's not financially feasible to change this entrance and exit.
