Description
The city cut the weeds down in the area just west BUT once again did NOT cut the weeds across from 750-770 area of Catalina Circle. This IS Vallejo property and after compaints the city did cut this back to reduce the fire hazard. There is also a strand of LARGE bushes that have been ignored behind the landscaped area/tree across from 768 Catalina Circle that is starting to infringe on the tree and other landscaping. Please cut these down. This area has finally started looking decent again but this is a problem.

John, I've been trying to find the one I saved which had very clear borderlines- no luck so far. We have the HOA property, then Vallejo City line, Napa County border to the north. We also have mixed in the F&W protected areas around us, AND the PG&E property- or is it an easment? The worst part of this is many times we get reffered to different areas or new jurisdictional areas with a lot of "kiss offs".
I believe any area under the PG&E lines has to be their jurisdiction and responsibility. I've had very mixed, but sometimes successful, dealings with them. Particularly mentioning potential "fire hazard" might get the best response. We had one worrisome fire from fireworks when the entire area was overgrown and I'm pretty sure that's why the city has been more responsive in recent years.
If I can dig up that specific map I will post it on this site for Cabana Isle residents. Meanwhile I'll try to post the only 2 I could find online. I'm certain there are more/better.

I can't change this to an acceptable format but here is the link to F&W which shows their protected areas around us.

The firebreak surrounding Catalina Circle is within specification. There is no firebreak beyond the riprap across from 750-770 Catalina Circle. The large infringing shrubs across from 768 Catalina Way are on state property.
