I grew up right across the street from that beach and never once were we told it is private property. I spent evey day in the summer down there.I still do. Last summer we were told by a few property owners that they owned it and it is indeed private. They put up a wire fence and even patrolled the perimeter with their dogs and everything.They were very rude and i honestly was ready to cut that fence down myself. The city made them take it down proving they do not own it. Although there surely is an owner who simply has left it open to the public.

It is private and people don't respect the property owners rights. Many people are rude, leave trash, break bottles, etc. Also, there is a lot of under age drinking etc. Would be nice if the police took an extra effort to patrol there. However, they do come when called.

Have you contacted your councilman, Dr. Micchia?? I'm sure he would love to "study" the problem for 1 or 2 years and then not do anything about it.

People are abusing and trespassing once again. What part of private property don't they get? If you are getting to the beach from the top--and passing the Blocks--you are trespassing! And would they trash their homes the same way they trash this. It is disgusting.
