This situation has been ongoing for at least a week. Alden/Fountain/Harrison should not have flashing traffic signals-flashing yellow on Fountain means that from Central Avenue to Forest Road/Dayton Street traffic does not have to stop, since McKinley/Fountain is normally flashing yellow for Fountain as McKinley ends at Fountain. Traffic is already too fast, as I suspect a great many motorist find it a higher speed alternative to Whalley just a block away. The Alden/Fountain/Harrison intersection needs a normal traffic signal with red at times for Alden, Fountain & Harrison. This IS after all a residential street, with a school halfway between Alden etc and Forest Rd/Dayton St. When is this going to be FIXED?

Signal crew responded and verified issue. Repairs completed and intersection back in normal operation.

As of 9:22am Wednesday January 27 the signal is STILL flashing yellow for Fountain Street. I can see the signal from my kitchen window.
