    Am I correct in understanding that the sidewalks will be improved, but Oberlin Road itself is NOT scheduled for re-paving? This road is a disaster, to nearly gravel road qualities, though I fear that's an insult to gravel roads. Particularly awful is the stretch of Oberlin between Wade and Clark, though it's not great north of Wade to Fairview or perhaps even Glenwood either. The huge increase in traffic in the Cameron Village area certainly isn't making the road any better. Will this be repaved when the construction of the townhomes (by the houses being preserved) is complete?

    Mcdowell And Davie Raleigh, North Carolina - Central
    The east-most lane of McDowell, when crossing Davie St., is like driving on a poorly maintained country road, particularly near the corner adjacent to the Wake Co. Public Safety Center (i.e. jail). As I travel home from work on it everyday, I can confidently say it has been this way for over a year. I don't know if it is from potholes, or just wear-and-tear since this is the downtown northbound thoroughfare, but it is in desperate need of repaving.
