I seriously doubt Code Enforcement will do anything. I've tried to get their help with a neighbor who's ignoring the havoc their trees are causing, and have gotten nothing but silence and apathy. They are worthless, except against those law-abiding citizens who choose to complain.

Thanks for the comment Matt...they have done something in the past with this house. I know because they actually stopped...and I dont like complaining if you open your garage to fix your own vehicle for a couple of hours...or wash it...but the issue here is that they open that garage in the morning and they are at it all day, with multiple cars, until the evening...its a slap in the face to any legit mechanic, going through the motion of business license, work permit, etc to open a legitimate business...

Thanks Luke. I do find it appalling, as you do, that someone trying to operate this type of business out of their own garage is so easily able to get away with it. I wish you luck with your dilemma, and hope that CE finally does what our local tax dollars pay them to do. Maybe a visit by VPD (after a call from a concerned citizen) for an unrelated issue, like excessive noise or something like that. Might be worth a shot. Again, best of luck.
