southwest-bound Kansas just before the metro overpass... some sort of heavy metal bar in the road... (sounds like dropping a pipe or wrench)
too dark to see it, couldn't find it, ran out of time, but i can hear it when cars drive over. sounds like it's going to wreck undercarriages

Sign Replacement Archived1300 Block 8th St Nw Washington, Dc - Shaw
West Side, Northern End Of The Street, the signs are actively misleading drivers leading to high risk parking, tocketing officer time wasted, and more parking tickets to administer. The block proceeds as follows: crosswalk, no parking for street cleaning sign, 1-2 carlengths, then a tree obscured no parking toward the driveway sign, then a driveway.
DC regs prohibit parking within 40 feet of an intersection (no sign required), but having signs up which prohibit parking in certain spaces implies that parking is permitted there.
We need an omni-directional no parking sign posted before the tree.

Traffic Calming Investigation Archived100 Van Buren St Nw Washington, District of Columbia - Fort Totten-Upper Northeast
Wondering if you might consider installing a stop sign camera at 1st & Van Buren NW. The signs are very obvious yet widely ignored. It's not the busiest intersection, but those of us in the area are so regularly dodging that we just have to assume a car is going to run the sign and fail to yield. Not frequently disappointed.
Observed any day at any hours.

At least 2 are down and removed.
