I live on a corner in Nob Hill with a stop sign and almost every driver rolls through it or barely slows down. It is not because foliage is blocking the sight. It's because everybody is in a hurry. There needs to be police enforcement of traffic laws to bring about change.

Oh, I completely agree. I'm amazed how people disregard stop signs in this town. It's such a terrible habit. The only time people even make a show of slowing down at stop signs is when there's a pedestrian or other vehicle. But even when the coast is clear, you should just stop; because it's the law and is just correct driving etiquette, but also because chances are you won't see a person or vehicle at some point when you're rolling through a stop sign. Learn to drive, people. Develop good driving habits. Always signal, always obey traffic signs. Basic stuff.

Yes, great idea. Whether the city does anything with it is another matter. At least there may be increased awareness of the problem.

Part of the problem is the fast moving traffic on Amherst/Monte Vista. A lot of people cut down Amherst to avoid Carlisle. I've asked for a speed bump on Amherst at Roma, no response from the city.
