Description
With all the interest in recycling, and the fact that recycling can often make money, why don't the new haven public schools have a comprehensive recycling program? Surely we can find room in the curriculum to teach our children to take care of their world!

I recall my recent experience there - students and faculty were falsely deceived by the blue recycling bins that they put papers in. One teacher at Cooperative Arts and Humanities reported to met that he witnessed the custodians dumping the contents of the recycling bin into the trash.
I'm sure they're many bottles and cans from the cafeterias that can be recycled. And it won't exactly cost the city millions. Just get some standard recycling going into the schools, at least!
