Description
Butte Street between Louisiana & Tennessee Streets: This entire section of Butte Street is in pretty bad shape, but these potholes adjacent to the east side entrance to Packard Alley are disastrous to anyone riding a bike -- often kids on a school day. Someone seem to have attempted to fill them with 2-3" chunks of crushed rock - even more dangerous to bicyclists or pedestrians if thrown up by a passing car.

This was great job of fixing the two pot holes. Unfortunately, the old road surface is in such bad condition that already, between the two patched areas, there are fresh cracks and loosened pieces of asphalt!
I realize that it is probably too late, and too expensive to return and fix this. Maybe the information can be logged for future reference when complete resurfacing of Butte Street is considered.
