oh lord! ive complained about that since i moved to north st. a year ago. cars fly down that hill crossing crest ave. and i cant see to the right heading towards north st. over all the bushes until im halfway through the intersection and a car is flying at me. a 4 way stop sign is SERIOUSLY needed there.
I know what you mean....I can't see past thoes bushes either, until I am almost 1/2 way to the middle of the road. There are kids around here 2...just way too dangerous!...Nobody wants to listen tho.
There are also illegal Bushes on the corners, so that you cannot see the cars speeding throught that intersection. However, no one seems to acknowledge existing stop signs in the neighborhood. Drivers race through all the Foxon Stop Signs at full speed ahead. Who;s going to stop them? The stop signs in our neighborhood seem to be taken as a sign to "Floor it, full speed ahead"!!
I rarely drive down Center; opting to go down Dale when coming from Englewood/Foxon Hill. I do see your point, though. It's hard to see what's coming up Center when I hit the Dale/So. Dale intersection. And since there's no stop for either side of Center up there it's also a danger zone.
Particularly at about 5:20 when the day care center on So Dale is right in the middle of pick-up time. All those headlights and people parked on both sides of the street.
