This road has been a disaster for years. Last month they came and ripped up the side of the entire street of Fairview. Assuming that after it was over it would get repaved, the residents let it pass. Construction ended about 2 weeks ago and no sign of a complete repave. This road needs to be repaved completely, its uneven and full of holes. Some left behind from construction.

Pictures of some of the issues I was able to get today. 1 is of a raised manhole cover that clearly still has the orange along the rim to indicate that it is a hazard.
The other is a picture of a part of Fairview that was more recently a whole the size of a fishtank. Then it had a cone in it, now it has a lump of what looks like dirt or asphalt in it that is not level and is still a hazard. My thinking is that one of the residents added the material in the hole to save some tires because if this was done done by the City, they should be ashamed.
Again, I don't understand why this is such an issue to fix? Work keeps getting done on the roads, then they aren't completed properly. I strongly urge the folks in charge who receive these messages to ride around and take a look at some of these side roads. The folks who are in charge of making the road back to normal after they complete roadwork are doing a seriously inept job. If this is an outside contract, I would take a serious look into changing. The residents in this area are completely unhappy with our roads and don't understand how we are paying money to buy trash bags to supposedly "improve infrastructure" for the town, and then jobs like this fall through the cracks for this long.
It is ridiculous and should be rectified in some way. If it is not, next time I need car work done, (which I'm sure will be soon because of this disaster) I will be sending the bill to the City and referencing the issues that have been brought to your attention over a year ago.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the City of Malden’s new system for reporting issues around the city. We see that you are no stranger to the SeeClickFix system as a means of reporting issues within the City of Malden but we wanted to give you some background information on SeeClickFix and its partnership with Malden.
A few years back SeeClickFix came on the scene in Malden through a media partner as a means of reporting issues within Malden, but at the time did not have a relationship directly with City officials. For years now, it has served as a great tool to get community support for pressing issues around Malden but ultimately there was no accountability for the issues submitted as is evident by the age of some unresolved tickets. The great news is that this is about to change. Beginning Thursday, February 21st, 2013 the City of Malden will use SeeClickFix as its official resident request reporting tool.
The City of Malden has officially entered into a multi-community shared service agreement whereby SeeClickFix would be the official tool to report issues throughout all the cities in the partnership. The good news doesn’t stop there. You will not have to change anything with your SeeClickFix account however, you will have to resubmit any issues you have previously reported that are still unresolved. Please take a moment to review your SeeClickFix request(s) and resubmit them if need be.
