this area of state street has become a literal raceway .another major accident last night due to speeding.with multiple injuries.this area has 3 churches a daycare center and many small businesess with limited off street paking.we are pleading for some kind of traffic calming .please HELP US.

Thanks for reporting this. I asked Lt. Blanchard to post traffic officers at this location and they have been pulling people over over the past week or so.
More importantly, we finally got approval from the State to install an electronic speed sign here to tell drivers how fast they are going and remind them of the speed limit. Thanks to the Cedar Hill Merchants Association and the City for helping with the sign. It should be installed in the near future.
