Thank you for reporting! Due to the nature of street damage, every report of a pothole must be inspected before repairs can be scheduled. If you looked at this pot hole, you will see the whole alley is that way. It's a City alley and has not been repaired in the 27 years I have been in my house.
Thanks for reporting! We have looked further into this issue. This alley is a private alley - it was built by funds from the homeowner's and was never turned over to the City. If you have more questions about this, please call our Streets Supervisor at 707-648-4430. Thanks again for using SeeClickFix!
You are incorrect. The alley was turned over to the city years ago at the city's request to all the garbage trucks to service the houses. A copy of this agreement was given to the street dept. years ago when this matter first came up. The city agreed to maintain the alley.
Second reply. The name of the alley is Terrace Alley and it was formally turned over to the city in 1965. I am told only city owned alley's have names. It was last repaired in the early 90's I believe because one of the homeowners threatened to sue the city.
