Descrição
Cars often park illegally on State St. right next to the intersection with Bradley St. This makes it very difficult to see oncoming traffic when turning from Bradley onto State. Better enforcement of the no-parking area at this intersection would make it much safer.

The ramifications of this are made worse by excessive speeding on this section of State. The area has the atmosphere of a highway ramp.
Painting narrower travel lanes could be a cheap short-term solution. This could be done by installing a painted median, which could eventually be converted into permanent pedestrian refuge islands combined with raised crosswalks, like in the photo shown here. A few of these on State would slow traffic, giving drivers additional reaction time and improving the pedestrian experience.

I'm not sure if the issue has been fixed at some point in the time this issue has been acknowledged, but it is still a problem.
Cars park all the way to the intersection, both blocking important lines of sight for drivers and taking up zone 3 parking spots for residents.
