To our Cities, Counties, States and our Federal Governments, PLEASE with the OIL companies charging these continuing high cost for fuel can we get back to what traffic lights were originally intended to do. That is to control the FLOW of traffic NOT the SPEED of traffic. It is upsetting to drive from one traffic light to the next to have to stop again. I would like to think that we could save many hundreds of gallons of fuel per day per city. We also need more of the Sensoring type of traffic lights to help in this control. Traffic at rush hours need one type of timing and maybe sensoring the other times of the day.

I agree with Mr. Klann. Stop-go, stop-go, stop-go; one right after another. His last sentence is pretty good, too. Good job, Klann, but I'm sure we'll see some lame excuses on why this can't be done, that it's too expensive for yet another "survey", etc., etc., ad nauseum.
Oh, Please. Don't you know they want us to use gas now, because with the decreased useage, they collect less tax dollars. Haven't you heard about the "use tax"? They are going to monitor our mileage and tax us on the miles we drive. Its part of the viscious circle, and the politicians desire to get more money from us.
